Seems to be the hot rumor.
Also send to be a weird fit.
Then again, the same could be said about South Florida and Cincinnati, so maybe Colorado is the best option.

Very curious what sort of reception he'll get from DFW players and HS coaches, but it seems like a plus for SMU/TCU that he's gotta sell cold weather and mountains rather than a beach in FL.

I don't like the guy, but there's no question he'll be able to recruit, and chances are he'll be able to put together an able staff.

The big winner here might be the Pac-12, that needed a boost in sizzle and will benefit from the extra TV interest and viewers who watch just to see Sanders.

Some things are legal in Colorado that aren't in Texas. Got to think that is part of any pitch on getting kids to Boulder.

I loved watching the Buffs back in the days of Bill McCartney and Beiniemy, Hagan etc.

Colorado is in the Pac 12. And let's all hope and pray that we see Deion coaching at Ford Stadium much sooner than 2031 (when we are scheduled to play them in Dallas).

You're right, of course. I meant Pac-12, because of reported interest in/from SMU.
Fixed. Thank you for catching that.

This is going to be fun to watch, that's for sure:

https://sports.yahoo.com/new-colorado-c ... 02151.html

New head coach telling current players to enter transfer portal, and naming his transferring son as Quarterback.

Everyone get your popcorn !

I thought there might be a chance Deion would make a play for DJ Uiagalelei who will be transferring from Clemson and the rumor here is that DJ will come as a "package deal" with his younger brother who is a 5 star edge rusher being courted by all the blue bloods of college football. I forgot about Deion's son so any QB coming in knows he might not have a fair shot at playing.

Agreed the PAC is the big winner, but no way Deion is with the Buffs in 2031

Either he’s fired or promoted….(lol, probably the same can be said about Rhett).

Question is does success at Colorado lead to FL St. If he wins a PAC Championship i say yes. And i wonder if that’s why he accepted this job. Probably the easiest path to a P5 championship & promotion.

I assume he will bring his best players from Jackson State but Colorado will be interesting to watch in the transfer portal to see what kind of class they reel in

I suspect there will be a lot of Colorado players entering the portal. Neon told them, if you aren't a good player please leave and free up a scholarship so we can bring some good players in here.
