Let's try to be positive. His advisor/agent did their due diligence and he was not getting drafted. Stay another year, put up some numbers and live a rent free life of comfort for another year.

He gets that NIL money so happy for him. And it actually is a blessing for us. I doubt Preston was sitting another year, although he appears to be a young man of great character.

Preston Stone is going to be so much fun to watch.

And Jennings is going to be there to push the competition in the QB room. He's shown he can step in and move this offense so we have to feel pretty good about next year, especially if a 3rd QB develops

If you drill down and look at the numbers for just SMU players, it's obvious these numbers are off. If you have joined a collective, you should be getting some information about what is going on with SMU's efforts to retain and recruit players

Don't know the NIL situation at Ole Miss, but if UB IV went there to enhance his pro prospects it was a flop. Six games, 16 rushes for 73 yards, and a 4 yard pass reception. A cautionary tale.
