He won't be the last to leave, I expect.

Will be interesting to see how he does when he leaves the no-defense Big 12

ACC defenses are not much better, possibly worse as of recent. Dabo's clemson defenses have always been solid thanks to ?venables? Every other defense is pretty horrid. UNC gave up 61 to app state

Norvell seems to have turned it around at Florida state, but it wasn't long ago (last year) they lost to jacksonville state

Good thing A&M locked down Petrino before Clemson got around to hunting. Whew!

Garrett may now be the highest paid OC, if he exceeds the UDub OC’s pay.

Meh, I don't think anyone on here was enamored with Riley. Lashlee did a better job at OC here, and in general, I like the O better this year than anything Riley called.

I read somewhere he might be the highest-paid assistant coach in the country.

Chad Morris and Brent Venables were the highest paid coordinators at one time when they were together at Clemson under Dabo Swinney. Chad had Deshaun Watson there to make him look good, but Chad gets some credit as he helped recruit Watson there. We'll see what Riley can do with the Klubnik who looked every bit like a FR against Tennessee in Clemson's bowl game
