Considering the presence of a sure draft pick in Rice, and a couple of maybes in Thomas and Roberts or someone, as well as the number of players SMU has sent to the NFL over the last decade-plus, it's a little surprising and definitely disappointing that EVERY team wasn't in attendance.

Commanders front office is treading water right now waiting to find out if Snyder actually sells or not. Fans would be overjoyed. They put up with him albeit hating him, until he changed the name. At that point, he was a pariah. HTTR.

That's exactly the type of team that should have been there. They largely sat out of free agency, so you would think the opportunity to grab someone like Jaylon Thomas or Jimmy Phillips for cheap would appeal to them. As terrible as their offensive line and linebackers are, you'd think they might have a real chance to make the team as backups.
