Arizona just drafted offensive tackle Parks Johnson, Jr.

First reaction was that he might push Kelvin Beachum, but he played on the left side at Ohio State, and it's hard to believe the Cardinals would take a tackle this high and not put him on the blind side.

... and now the Baltimore Ravens just spent a first-round pick on Boston College wide receiver Zay Flowers — which means the receivers on the roster now include:

James Proché
Flowers
Odell Beckham
Nelson Agholor
Rashod Bateman
Shemar Bridges
Devin Duvernay
Andy Isabella
Mike Thomas
Tylan Wallace

Flowers, Beckham and Bateman are locks to make the team, and Agholor seems extremely likely to be among the first four. This competition just got more interesting...

Giants take Deonte Banks. Didn't Rice torch Maryland?

He did, to the point they double covered him because Kerley was hurt. And of course we couldn't convert 4th and 1s because they didn't play Lavine.

Was thinking the same thing (I was at the game), and I'm a Giants fan so was concerned. I went back and looked at the consolidated recording of the game. Turns out Banks was never assigned on Rice a single play in the game. He always covered the outside receivers and absolutely locked them down. Made Kerley (he was playing) a total non-factor and locked down others there like Dixon.
