Source: last night's ACC Presidents meeting came and went without a proposal for a vote.

Yesterday (August 15) also was the drop-dead date for ACC teams to leave for the 2024-25 season.

If SMU is willing to forgo media rights what is the downside to the ACC?Unlike the West Coast Dallas is only a 4 hour flight from anywhere.

D/FW Airport/Perot Field/Meacham/Love Field is one of the best things to happen for both SMU and TCU (and opponents). You can literally go anywhere (pretty much) in the world non-stop or with one hop. I believe this is highly underscored.

If you meant to say undervalued, then I agree.

This is all the more reason that Smu need to establish a store front in both airports for branding creating t shirt fans!

We need to start winning championships. SMU was attracting t-shirt basketball fans in the brief Larry Brown era but we blew that big time!

lots of tslk regarding Stanford and Cal. Nothing about adding SMU. I am feeling that again we will be left on the outside looking in. Guess we will see in the next week or so.

most articles written in the last 24 hours are about Stanford and SMU, not Cal. Let's get it baby! George W has our back!

Reported here in College Station from Chip Howard that Condi Rice has gone to bat with ACC presidents on behalf of Stanford, and George W on behalf of SMU.

there is NO political intent or slant implied in this post...just the facts, ma'am.

My gut tells me that if they really are having a vote tomorrow one of the holdouts has flipped. Hope that is true.
