Injury updates from Rhett Lashlee

The SMU head coach offered a few updates on the Mustangs who have been injured during the 2023 season.

• Lashlee said he thinks the Mustangs will get G Justin Osborne (knee) back this week. "It's trending that way."

• Lashlee stopped short of saying RB L.J. Johnson will take the field against the Pirates, but did say the transfer from Texas A&M "has had a pretty good week, week-and-a-half with the off time."

• S Brandon Crossley, Lashlee said, is "still probably (a) game-time (decision)"

• RB Camar Wheaton’s hamstring “is better. I don’t know yet whether he’ll go. He has not been ruled out.”
