SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Offensive numbers are skewed because of Prairie View and Temple teams that might not score in intramural games.
But still ... that's some nice company. That graphic should go to everyone who votes on AAC-affiliated bowl bids.

Nice stat and talking point.

Do need to take into account that we have played Prairie View and the 3 bottom dwellers of the AAC. Temple, ECU, and Charlotte all have offenses that would struggle to score against FCS teams. And their defenses are not much better.

After Tulsa, better tests await.
