Whatever the score, I say we will hang at least 50 on Rice and win.

Tulane beat this Rice team last week by 2 points in Houston. Rice's offense struggled against Texas and ECU but has otherwise put up 28 points or more every week. We know ECU's D was tough from our own experience. Would help our ranking to win by a comfortable margin but as Al Davis used to say: "Just win, baby!"

Rice keeps it close for a half then SMU pulls away. SMU 38 RICE 17.
