It’s true that our conference opponents have been extremely weak, but we have steamrolled them a combined 225-67. Rice is the only game that was a scare, and that was mainly due to mistakes. This team is really good, but after years of failure it’s difficult for us to be true believers.

Hope you are right. Memphis QB's left shoulder injury hasn't affected his throwing but he clearly has no interest in running which was part of his game so he hopefully won't be as effective as he's been in the past against us. Tulane beat Memphis by 10 in Memphis. We will find out soon how we measure up. If both SMU and Tulane win out I assume we will play the championship game in New Orleans.
