We haven't really faced a good team since OU and TCU. I won't sing his praises until we beat Memphis.

The next two will be interesting - but, we have the team to beat both Memphis and Navy.

Agreed. That being said, the Rice game was the EXACT type of game smoo loses on the road in past years. Lots of football left.

Yup. Mustang Band is making the trip to Memphis. Hoping there is a Rice-like crowd in red.

Schedule has been good to SMU. We still haven't beaten a team with a winning record. Memphis is going to be the test of whether this is an AAC Championship caliber team

Does anyone know what section SMU is in? I think I am going to pick up a ticket on stubhub and drive down from Cincinatti for the game/

watched the memphis game. we can beat them if our pass D is on key. plus their QB is hurting and may not be full strength for the game.

It’s true that our conference opponents have been extremely weak, but we have steamrolled them a combined 225-67. Rice is the only game that was a scare, and that was mainly due to mistakes. This team is really good, but after years of failure it’s difficult for us to be true believers.

We WILL beat Memphis and Navy and play for the championship!

Hope you are right. Memphis QB's left shoulder injury hasn't affected his throwing but he clearly has no interest in running which was part of his game so he hopefully won't be as effective as he's been in the past against us. Tulane beat Memphis by 10 in Memphis. We will find out soon how we measure up. If both SMU and Tulane win out I assume we will play the championship game in New Orleans.
