That’s cool and all but in reality it’s money down the drain and actually pretty sad.

Not a lot of sexy available names out there. Ed Orgeron? Elko, Lanning, Harbaugh, Traylor, Norvell, DeBoer? The only ones who might go would be Traylor or Elko both of whom would view it as a step-up. The others have great deals and not a lot of risk. I can't see the Aggie faithful being excited about either of those two. There are probably some NFL coaches who will be available, but again, not names that will win over the Aggie faithful.

Money has never been the problem at TAMU, but its a very tough job nonetheless. A career killer for most who take it. But sooner or later some coach will take all that talent and catch lightning in a bottle I would think.

Just heard on the news that Traylor is interviewing for the wTf job. Does that make him Traylor trash, and no better than the Snayke :?:

Have to share this story.

After the game on Tuesday walking down the aisle from the top of Moody, some Aggie made a comment out loud about how we “had to buy our way into the ACC.” My brother didn’t miss a beat and immediately said, “Better investment than Jimbo.” The guy shut up and my brother got some laughs from others who heard him.

Maybe someone here has seen the reports and has better numbers but I understand that once SMU collects various ACC related income which will not include media rights the school will make more annually than the total of our current AAC media income? Even if that isn't true 9 years in the ACC @ a loss of about $7M in AAC media money per year is better than paying a coach and his assistants over $100 for nothing.

Pure Aggie actions.

Aggies wanted to join the Ukrainian Army. The bought 300 septic tanks and as soon as they learn how to drive them, they are volunteering.

But this is real life ooops. 100Mil.
