People and tv crew, assumed that all SMU fans wore RED, unfortunately, we have fans that still wore blue (to honor Memphis senior day). So, we actually had more at the game, than what it looked like. Same thing at Rice, the fans in red, stood out like a sore thumb, but, we had quite a few fans disguised as Rice fans, wearing blue and even gray. I agree about the band, they sounded terrific on tv!

It seems to never fail that we have fans that will wear the color of our enemy instead

of choosing to stand out to leave no doubt who you are pulling for.

Team should have worn red pants like we wore blue pants for an away game earlier in the year. PR people should release uniforms (and thus suggestions for fans) a few days before the game. Certainly the team knows what uniform they will be wearing at least several days in advance.

If you follow SMU Pom on Instagram, they sometimes tell you what to wear. Not always, though. But you should follow them anyway.
