From what I can tell, if it's UTSA, the game will be at SMU.

Probably true depending on whether UTSA jumps us in the ratings on the strength of a win @ Tulane

Being reported that UTSA coach has interviewed with Aggies. Never good for morale a la Sonny Dykes.

Navy is only one spot behind Memphis in the conference standings. I’m more worried about them and their offense we see once a year right now.

yes, navy could be a trap game for us. especially if our D plays like they did in memphis.

With other teams lurking (UNLV and a couple others), I think we need to be hoping for Tulane to beat UTSA and then we go to NO and take out Tulane if we are looking at things through New Years Bowl lenses.

Wouldn’t mind a home game in Dallas against UTSA for a chance at a title, but it might not put us ahead of the MWC teams if we win.

Our D played pretty well against the run, and that's all Navy does.

I agree that a Tulane win is the best scenario for us.

Not saying we should take them lightly, but Navy has an even easier conference schedule than we do! They didn't have to play UTSA or Tulane, and they also didn't even have to play Rice. Temple's lone victory was against Navy.

I think UTSA is playing better at the moment, but I agree with this 1,000%. Tulane has been ranked for most of the year, and right or wrong, Tulane is viewed nationally as the best team in the conference.

Will be pulling for UTSA, but I fear they may have fear, and distractions of losing their coach. The NCAA needs to put a rule in place banning contacting and interviewing coaches during the season.
May the forth be with us.

PS, respectfully I believe the NCAA needs no more presumed power than it already has...in fact (not to hijack this thread) they need to be put down like the rabid dogs they are...

I would rather play Tulane. For ranking purposes it is better that they win out and then we beat them. Additionally, I think we match up better against them than UTSA. The running quarterback brings an extra dimension to cover defensively.
