Willie is pretty direct and to the point with all of his answers and love that finish "yes". This guy has really done a good job @Tulane and they will have a hard time holding onto him

Short and sweet. Do you really want Houston, no.
His answers are super direct.
I hope he retires at toolame.
May need to change my nick name.

They do have the advantage of him being 63. I'd worry too if I was a Wave fan, but that factor helps them think he might retire there.

I still think he leaves, whether it's this year or next. His track record is so good that some big program will back up the bank truck to his door. He might be 63, but that also means he probably has grandkids he can set up with a bigger paycheck ... and I have no idea if Tulane has the alums with the money and willingness to match a big contract.

As Rhett Lashlee said this week, it isn't true that football coaches and their families love moving from one town to the next. Tulane is a big deal in New Orleans right now. If he feels financially comfortable at age 63 why not continue on with the program he has built in his image and then retire on his own terms? And Houston? That would be an easy job to pass up unless the money is obscene.

Supposedly Tulane will match what Houston offers him. If so, that will really change the landscape of p6 coaches salaries.
