Deion is cool but he got SI sportsperson of the year for getting last in the PAC-12? Also there were 4 one win teams in 2022 and he had the 3rd best record of that group this year.

Next year he will be coaching in a weaker conference. Not sure what his schedule will look like but I assume Colorado will have an improved record again based on SOS if nothing else.

He's a joke, and it's hard to believe a once-great publication like Sports Illustrated falls for his act ... except for the fact that SI also started spitting out AI-written and thinking people still want to pay to read it. If their staff doesn't take the time to write it, nobody should read it ... and especially shouldn't pay for it.
