Coach is obviously disappointed and let's just hope the team feels disrespected and plays well in Boston, which should also be a fun trip and visit for the team.

I'm with coach: it would not surprise me to learn that the committee didn't even watch the game against Tulane on Saturday.

I hope they go to Fenway with a chip on their shoulders and absolutely bury BC. 57-10 would be a nice score.

A shut out would play well for next year.

CRL is a class act, to be sure, and he's handled all of the post-championship interviews perfectly.

We're all disappointed but this team sticks together like glue. I believe they'll make a first-class effort to win and make a statement going into next year, and finish this season in the Top15. Who wouldn't have been excited with that result when the season began?

I'm looking forward to Fenway.

Tentatively planning to be there 12/27-29. For anyone familiar with Boston, any suggestions for must-see sights? Can't-miss places to eat?

I think I may be going also. I am planning to fly out of Cincy on the 26th just in case of weather delays.

During baseball season, the hot dogs are really good, but don't know (yet!) whether they'll use the same catering service for the bowl game.

Beat BC!

My amazing siblings, two of whom are SMU grads, have graciously paid for my flight, hotel and ticket to the game. I got lucky with the family I was born into.

^^^Family like that is a blessing that makes life worth living. Enjoy the game and family.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
