Watching it, I’m remembering being at the real Cotton Bowl in ‘83. SMU vs Pitt (w/a qb named Marino?!?). I’m thinking at least 2 in our group had flasks of Wild Turkey. I also remember that after taking a swig I didn’t feel it until it got to my toes. Good times.

There were young newlyweds sitting near us. At halftime the wife said that she ready to go home because of the weather. Hubby said "no way." Wife left without him and he stayed until the end. I wonder if they are still married?

That might be me. My wife and our friends wives left at half time.

We have just completed 43 years of marriage. She still does not do cold or wet games.
