This team will do well to win 4 home games next year and 2 road games to become bowl eligible. Houston Baptist/Christian is probably the only "given" on the schedule. Have to hope the new transfers really step up and some of the incoming FR can contribute

I have not been following TCU in the portal or HS recruiting, so I don't know what steps they have taken to improve their team. But I REALLY want us to win that game in Dallas next year. This year left a bad taste in my mouth.

2024 ACC Schedule
Home: Boston College, Cal, Florida State, Pitt
Road: At Duke, At Louisville, At Stanford, At Virginia

Non-Conference: BYU, Houston Christian, TCU, replacement for Vanderbilt

I think we should expect to win against BC, Cal, Pit, Stanford and Virginia from the ACC side. On the non-conference, we should beat HCU, the team we replace Vanderbilt with. I think we should beat BYU and make the game with the toads a toss-up. At Louisville will be tough, not sure what to think about Duke yet with all the coaching and player changes there. The games against the Noles will likely be a loss unfortunately. We should expect to go bowling. It's not like we got a schedule with FSU, Clemson, ND, etc.

I would correct one thing in ESPN poll, it was best season since Dupard and Atkins.

TCU will be competitive. Scroll down to # 10 on this list:

This years schedule vs next year are polar opposite and that’s a wonderful thing! Depending on the Vandy replacement, HCU is the only sure win on the list. I might need a pacemaker, but I can’t wait to see Ford rockin and the fans staying for the entire game. Going to be an amazing year

I am hoping Preston can put us on his back as Max Duggan did at TCU and takes us to the Top 25 like so many think. It is possible but my expectations remain low. 6-6 seems like the number I expect, so prove me wrong players and coaches. I would love it.

6 6 would be wonderful. I would be thoroughly pleased with that as well. There is a big divide between the haves and have-nots and it'll take more than a yr or two before we're truly competitive. It'll happen in time.
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.
