That is undoubtedly why he bailed
Re: Boston College loses head coach
Bill O'Brien is much better replacement than I thought possible. He might do some damage to especially Syracuse and Rutgers trying to build winning programs. But there just is no talent closer than NJ, and that pales compared to even MD talent.
Re: Boston College loses head coachI wonder how many assistants O'Brien will replace. He has the NFL pedigree, and did a good job at State Penn under brutal circumstances. With the right staff, he could be pretty dangerous at BC.
Re: Boston College loses head coachYuuuge hire for them. We lost to BC by 2 scores (could have been worse, they were taking a knee on our goal line at the end) and they have many key players returning, including QB Thomas Castellanos. They also killed it in the transfer portal. Glad we have an open date before we play them, we're gonna need it.
Re: Boston College loses head coachYou sound like the late Ed Davis
Re: Boston College loses head coach
Haha. Well, I predicted 10 and 2 last season!
Re: Boston College loses head coachThat was last year - we talking 2024 -
Re: Boston College loses head coach
I'm waiting to see how we finish in the portal, before making my 2024 prediction. My people, will notify your people, when I'm ready to call a presser.
Re: Boston College loses head coachAfter Spring practice and SMU staff does a review of current roster... There will be additions made to improve depth where needed. IF there is NIL funds to improve, we will.
After that time is past, then we can maybe look at next year's W's and L's. Mustang Militia: Fight the good fight"
