B1G and SEC still control. If together they invited enough ACC teams they could work around the GOR and basically destroy the conference. Of course, they could do the same to the Big XII but do not appear to have any interest in any of those schools

Other than the last 2 years, FSU football record is OK. FSU thinks both the SEC and B10 wants them. Maybe not. Suspect University of Florida doesn't want to share in state recruits.
FSU is not Texas nor Oklahoma.

FSU trumps UO and UT if on field success counts for anything. Definitely a national
brand if one considers the past 40 years. Won a natty 11 years ago. What did Stoops
ever do post 2000 with all that talent in Norman? and the horns prior to this past
season?

For a long time, FSU was one of the national heavyweights, above Texas and Oklahoma. Maybe it was those "off years" a few years ago that were the aberation, not last year's miracle run.
