A two, Anderson and Byrd, for one Hickman. Maybe it's a trend?

Glad he's not going to Fort Worth.
Good luck, Branson.

Certainly Anderson and Byrd had higher grades from the recruitnicks coming out of High School, and they win the "tale of the tape". But neither of those guys played up to their hype at OK. Hickman on the other hand, was the central cog in a pretty darn good OL last year.

If Hickman ends of starting at OK next year, one has to wonder who got the better end of this deal.

Agreed, pretty sure Anderson was third string in his third year there last year, and I think Byrd wasn’t the starter all year/lost the starting job?

Whereas Hickman was a multi year starter on the best G5 OL last year.

One of my counterparts in OK says everyone there loved Byrd. He was a starter last year, but allegedly inconsistency was his downfall. I saw a little bit of that in the spring game... I was taking photos of Byrd looking dominant (which I was going to send to my friend at OK), and then on the next play, he blocked down to double team a DT or DE -- thereby presenting a linebacker with an open sack lane.
