Great article you guys did on the offseason conditioning program. And the progress sounds impressive, to say the least. For once, we'll get off the bus and make some opponents realize they're in for a long afternoonn.

Terrific job - keep it up!

Great article about the strength & conditioning program and Coach Faucette. In his measure of the Stregth Index, what is the pro agility drill and the"L" drill?

The L drill is just what it sounds like -- they set up cones (or some other markers) in the shape of an L, and the player has to run to one cone, then turn and get to the next, then back to the middle cone before getting back to his starting point. The object is to assess the player's lateral speed, as well as straight sprinting speed, and the ability to switch back and forth between the two.

Not sure what the pro agility drill is, though. Maybe there's a former player on this site who can clear it up?

Great job on the story!

Thanks PonyTales. Out of curiosity, how far are the cones or objects apart and what is a good time for this drill?

the cones are set ten yards apart. start in the middle... go to the cone on the right...then the cone on the left...and finish back in the middle.
