Postby ALEX LIFESON » Thu May 25, 2023 4:06 pm

Kori Roberson committed to the Mustangs today after committing to Arizona State nine days ago. Another bonus, the frogs hosted him on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Transfer portal has really lead to a deep and experienced DL that will hopefully allow some of the younger guys to mature before they are thrown into the fire

I wonder if he'll be a DT for the Stangs or go back to SSDE, which I think he was a 4-star at that position in high school.

That sack against Tulane last year is far more impressive than it would sound in previous years.

So does this pick-up push Chatman even further out of the rotation?

He will have 2 years of eligibility remaining, played for Coach Thibodeaux at OU and as suggested, he might bring more flexibility as a guy who could play inside or out on the DL. Hopefully the improved depth on the DL will allow guys to play fewer snaps and not wear out. We need a really stout DL to free up our LBs as that remains the primary area of concern for next year's D. DL and secondary play should be much improved in '23
