Jaden Milliner-Jones, who once committed to SMU but then flipped and spent 2023 at Colorado, announced on his social media that he is transferring to the Hilltop. The DeSoto High School grad was a freshman last season and was listed at 5-11, 195 pounds.

AT DeSOTO HIGH SCHOOL
Played three years of varsity ball at DeSoto High School for coach Claude Mathis after spending his freshman season at Mesquite Horn High School in Mesquite, Texas.
Helped DeSoto to a 35-7 record in three years culminating in a state championship his senior season.
Finished his career at DeSoto with 237 tackles, 12 for a loss with 1.5 sacks, one interception, eight pass breakups and three forced fumbles.
In 2022, he played in 15 games and anchored the back-end of DeSoto’s State Championship team. Milliner-Jones finished the season with 86 total tackles, five tackles for loss and a sack, adding one interception, two pass breakups and two forced fumbles.
Finished as the third leading tackler and second in solo tackles.
In 2021 as a junior, he played 10 of 14 and helped DeSoto to an 11-3 record and a Texas 6A D-II regional final with 35 tackles, including one for a loss.
Sophomore season in 2020, he averaged more than six tackles per game helping DeSoto to a 10-2 record.
That season he had 68 tackles, including four for a loss, nine quarterback hurries and four pass breakups. .
At Horn as a freshman, he recorded 48 tackles in eight game with two pass breakups and one quarterback hurry.
Also ran track at DeSoto.

More Desoto, Duncanville & SOC guys on the roster. Keep them home and bring those who left back home whenever possible!
