6-4 receiver from Carthage (Kris Briggs' hometown) says we were in his top 3, along with LSU and A&M. Says he wants to wait til after the season and see how each team does (uh oh) and how much each team needs him. (If he goes by that, he's ours. How nice would a fast 6-4 WR look in Mustang colors?)

Another receiver, Jared Quick of Austin, lists SMU (and UT) as his top two choices. Rumor has it he doesn't have very good speed, so he wouldn't crack the crop of new WR's at UT. Maybe playing time will help our chances of getting him?
