Robert Timmons

There was a lot of conversation on this board last summer about Roosevelt QB Robert Timmons, and nobody seemed to know who he was. Here's the update: He transferred to A. Maceo Smith, and after a week transferred again to Flower Mound Marcus. He's a junior this year, and he recently was declared ineligible because it was learned that he, his mother and his aunt are living in a mobile home that is owned by the father of a Marcus assistant coach. He has said he is innocent -- and I think we should all believe him until it's proven otherwise -- but at least for the moment, he's out of the game. Too bad, too, because he's been switched to WR, he's 6-4, over 200 and fast -- REALLY fast. If he gets his situation squared away, he would be a great target with size AND speed to add to our current crop of little guys....
