Garland and DeSoto

Keith Mills, a wideout from Garland, and Ellis Hobbs, a running back at DeSoto, have seriously started considering the Ponies after last weekend's win against Nevada. Mills is one of the state's top recruits--he was the playmaker on the Owls' state championship push--as he tallied more than 1300 rec/rush yards last year. Hobbs is a burner, and would start over any of the guys we got now. He's been compared to Byron Hanspard.

If Hobbs is a real Hanspard clone, he'll never go to class and he'll flunk out. Hope he's Hanspard on the field, not in the classroom.
