The Mustangs offered to Lockhart speedster Trey Griffin on Tuesday and he is headed to Dallas for an official visit to SMU on Friday. This kid is a terrific athlete who burst onto the scene with a breakout senior season:

I've seen this kid play. He would be a HUGE addition to our recruiting class.

Trey's a special athlete who could fit into any number of positions. But he has great hands and can run very well with the ball. He would be a nice pickup for whoever gets him.

I've seen him play. He'd look great in red & blue.

We've put a call into Trey and we are awaiting his call back. We're as curious as most of you what his impressions of the campus were over the weekend and whether or not he committed.
