Commentary by: Jeremy Crabtree of Rivals100.com

"I had a lot of fun at SMU this weekend," Irving, Texas, offensive lineman Victor Mercado. "It would open a lot of doors for me because I could live there and also be really close to my family." Mercado said that SMU is now in the mix with Texas A&M (Nov. 17), Tulsa (Dec. 8) and LSU (Dec. 15). "I was thinking about maybe visiting Washington," he said. "But that's just too far from home. I'll probably make my decision over Christmas break."

Now this sounds like the kind of guy who just might come in here and contribute right away.

I don't know. Looked pretty soft when I saw him at the basketball game. May need some time in the weight room. But the dimensions are there.

Hopefully you are right CP. We need to get some big boys in here that are ready to play, help give us some depth and keep the QB off his butt. I was surprised we only had one OL come in last weekend. Anybody know of any other OL that are interested and we are going after? What do the visits look like for this weekend?
