SMU has picked up a commitment from one of the top players in El Paso. “You could say that I committed,†El Paso (Texas) Irvin defensive back Don Stansbury said. “I’m still going to take a few visits, but this is the place I’m most likely going to attend.†The 6-1, 200-pound Stansbury visited SMU this past weekend and excited about the things that he witnessed. “The visit went great,†Stansbury said. “I really like the academic programs and I liked the facilities.†Stansbury, who is the younger brother of UCLA linebacker Ed Stansbury, is the Mustangs third verbal commitment.
