Rowlett KICKER commits to SMU

Rowlett kicker/punter Chris McMurtray (6-1, 190) announced he has given his verbal (non-binding) commitment to play at SMU. The first day a recruit can sign a national letter-of-intent is Feb. 7. McMurtray hit seven-of-11 field goal attempts, including a 48-yarder this season. He also considered Wisconsin before becoming SMU's fourth commitment.
