Shawn Willis, Corey Roberts

Does anyone know anything on Shawn Willis or Corey Roberts, Those two guys would make our recruiting class.

Shawn Willis, the 6-1, 240-pound RB from Flatonia (Texas), still has SMU on his list, but is leaning heavily toward Florida State, Texas A&M or Texas. At the moment, he doesn't even have a visit set to SMU.

Corey Roberts, the 6-4, 205-pound WR from Carthage, scheduled a visit to SMU for this coming weekend. This would be a huge addition, adding a pair of tall WRs in Roberts and Lufkin WR Jay Taylor. But saying they'll make our recruiting class? Come on, let's not confuse these guys with the three studs who signed last year at Texas. Neither of these kids is Roy Williams, B.J. Johnson or Sloan What'sHisName.

They'd help -- we certainly can use a few wideouts who are tall AND fast -- but let's not get too carried away.

And they'll never catch a pass if Page/Luker get killed every time they drop back to pass. PLEASE SIGN OFFENSIVE LINEMEN -- LOTS OF THEM!

We've tried to get a hold of Shawn for several weeks with no success. But we'll keep trying. Last night, I just missed as he went to get a video. I'll try again later this evening if I can get a chance.
