Gray shirting

It is my understanding from my contact who appears to be well connected that we only had 18 scholarships to give. One of the recruits is going to be "gray shirted" meaning that he will be given the scholarship at midyear. I have been given an idea of whom that might be, but will wait until after all are signed and see if the identity is disclosed by the coaching staff. "Gray shirting" is evidentally in vogue now which is how schools like Okl$homa can have so many commitments.
