For my money, the two defensive linemen listed there should be our top priorities. It would be nice to have a defensive end who already is 255 pounds, and a defensive tackle with that kind of quickness is hard to find. Last one I remember was named Jerry Ball -- and he turned out to be pretty good.

OK, so how do we convince these kids -- the guys from Mesquite and Lancaster -- to stay home?

If Marco Martin says he'll listen to SMU, we need to put a full-court press on the kid. I have a cousin who teaches in the Mesquite ISD (at Mesquite Poteet) and he says Martin is unbelievable. Anyone know if he's going to SMU's summer camp?

It's funny you would mention Riley (The Crockett Rocket) and Morton because both verbally committed to play for A&M on Tuesday. Both are lifelong Aggie fans who were considered heavy leans for some time.

I appreciate the stats, but if Morton has already committed to tAm, he's wasting his time, and everybody else's. He can go straight to the League running a 4.6 at 290, as a running back or any position he wants to play.

Sorry, I meant Marco Martin.

They already committed to a&m? Crap.

Obviously, they've never visited College Station. If they had, they wouldn't commit. I'm convinced the players who sign with the aggies are the ones who sign based on rumors and reputations but never actually make a visit down there. After all, nobody who's seen that 'neck town would live there voluntarily, right?

I understand that SMU called our office to inform us that they would offer Corey Ford early, a DT from Dallas Skyline, Does anyone know anything about this offer?

Thanks in Advance, Coach Rob <BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote:</font><HR><font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Originally posted by Recruiting Guru:
