We give credit where it's due: this link was posted on mm.com. Very encouraging, and worth the read.

Still think the relaxed admissions policy isn't helping? Not so fast, my friends! This kid clearly is a good student, and sounds like he's a heck of a football player. To get a guy who's been pursued by Texas, Oklahoma and Colorado -- and to have him already saying he won't take any other visits -- is huge.

Congratulations to Coach Cavan and his staff. Keep up the great work.

Good move by Corso to thank the staff for their effort so far in recruiting. Too often we get hung up on blasting coaches or players if a team doesn't win, win by a big enough margin, etc. For all the skeptics who have called for a coaching change, send Cavan an e-mail to congratulate him on the strong start to recruiting.

Did everyone realize who we beat out to get Gilmore? I saw an interview with him where he said he chose SMU over Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas State, TCU and Rice. Sounds like a very intelligent young man, and I'm guessing he's got a lot of talent, too.
