At least one recruiting website lists these kids as among the top 10 at their position in the entire country. There's a couple here we should have a shot at.

O.K., but how many are academically eligible to play at SMU and/or would have any interest in doing so if they were eligible? I don't recognize any of these names as SMU campers. We've got a long ways to go before we will attract interest from the top players, and would need to relax admission standards to NCAA minimum requirements to have any chance of competing for some.

Let's just hope the experience we return this year will pay off and result in a winning season. Then perhaps we can build from there.

Reggie is going to A&M. He's already comitted, and I don't see anything changing there. He also turned down an offer from Florida State.
