With Aldridge and Patman graduating next year, and with Pratt's future sounding cloudy, I think defensive ends should become almost as much of a priority as offensive linemen. Not that we can't use more defensive tackles, too, but I think we're staring at an awfully thin pass rush in a year or two from the DE spot. We all are being led to believe Melvin Williams will be a player, and maybe Dineen or Khalid Beard (he's moving to DE, right?) will be pretty good there. But they're all undersized. We need to go out and get some tall, strong pass-rushing defensive ends. I gather the kid from Lancaster is amazing, but he doesn't have us on his list, from what I read. Get Corey Ford to SMU.

Couldn't agree more. Of course, EVERY coach is looking for big, fast defensive ends.
