DMN says Garland Naaman Forest cornerback Kelvin Cox (6-0, 175) has given his oral commitment to SMU. Says he chose SMU over Baylor High, Texas Tech and Houston.

Kelvin Cox is a terrific player. He might be a shade over 6 feet, and he has great speed, acceleration and cover skills. Versatile athlete who can play several positions. Very nice addition to the SMU secondary.
