DMN makes Barnett sound like a stud - #45 player (at any position) in the state. Chose SMU over A&M, Colorado, Iowa, Iowa State and LSU. Nice pickup for the Ponies!

Just to save everyone the time of going through the excercise of seeing what 'Rivals' reports on these kids.
------------------------------------
1. Darrian Billups
Defensive Tackle
Arlinton (Bowie) Texas
6-5, 290, 5.19
2 stars, ranked # 63
Billups is an up-and-coming prospect in the Arlington area. He has good size, decent speed and a good nose for the football.

2. Robert Gilmore
Defensive Back
Euless (Trinity), Texas
6-1, 174
3 stars, ranked #59
Gilmore is going to have to battle back from a torn ACL that he suffered on the final play of the Oklahoma elite camp. But that didn't keep the college coaches away with many offers. Gilmore could be the sleeper catch of the year in the Lone Star State because of his ability to do so many things and his off-the-field personality.

3. Randy Denman
Defensive Lineman
Dayton, Texas
6-2, 265
2 stars, not ranked.
No commentary.

4. Dustin Morton
Offensive Guard
Conroe, Texas
6-4, 277, 5.4
2 stars, ranked #53
Morton is a very good run blocker and has established himself as one of the top offensive linemen in the Greater Houston Area.

5. Craig Kuhrt
Tight End
Bastrop, Texas
6-7, 250, 5.0
2 stars, not ranked
Plays tight end in high school, but his size and frame means he could turn out to be an impressive offensive tackle on the next level.

6. Alifaleti "Claymore" Likio
Defensive Tackle
Euless (Trinity), Texas
6-3, 312
2 stars, not ranked.
No commentary.

7. Kelvin Cox
Defensive Back
Garland (Naaman Forest), Texas
6-0, 175, 4.4
2 stars, not ranked
Cox said his specialty is bump-and-run coverage. He had three interceptions and five pass breakups as a junior.

8. Rahegene Cherry
Defensive Takle
Plano (East), Texas
6-1, 300, 5.0
2 stars, not ranked
A sleeper defensive tackle prospect that plays for one of the top programs in the Metroplex.

9. Martin Guidry
Offensive Line
Beaumont (Ozen), Texas
6-4, 260
N/A

10. Donnie Gilray
Quarterback
Rowlett, Texas
6-3, 210
N/A

11. Darrin Johnson
Defensive End
Dallas (North Dallas), Texas
6-6, 270, 5.2
2 Stars, not ranked
Johnson is one of the biggest sleeper projects in the Dallas Metroplex. He has amazing size and a great fame to work with. But his football skills are still a little raw.

12. Chris Urbanus
Offensive Line
Alvarado, Texas
6-5, 280, 5.2
Urbanus has the frame that college coaches like to work with. Still developing into a great player, Urbanus could be one of the better steals in the Metroplex this recruiting season.

13. Mike Benson
Offensive Line
Houston (St. Pius), Texas
6-5, 270
N/A

14. Anthony Barnett
Running Back/Wide Receiver
Dallas (Carter), Texas
5-10, 180, 4.4
3 stars, ranked #16 (top DFW back)
Barnett is one of the top all-purpose backs in the Midlands and the state of Texas. He has the ability to kill you with his speed and his moves.

15. Reggie Carrington
Linebacker
Tomball, Texas
6-1, 220
N/A

I've seen Ragheme "The Cat" Cherry play both at PESH and his first school, Canyon Creek. At CC, against obviously weaker competition, he was lights out as a sophomore. Behind the line of scrimmage on just about every play.
At PESH, he's been solid, which is saying a lot. They finished atop one of the best districts in Texas, and I assume he was a big reason why.
He was very quick off the line, and is pretty big. I think his moves will be his strength.

Everything I've heard is that Denman is a monster waiting to emerge. Can't wait.
