All State Teams

I noticed that two of our offensive line recruits have made honorable mention All State the last two days. Chris Urbanus of Alvarado was honorable mention 3A and Martin Guidry of Beaumont Ozen was honorable mention 4A.

I also noticed that Elliot made FIRST team 2A All State earlier this week. I haven't seen this mentioned on the board.

Regarding our man Elliott - exactly where is Sonora, Texas? I've never heard of it.
Although if he's as good as advertised, who cares where it is? Sure glad he's a Mustang!

Will Elliott play WR or DB? Heard he was great at both positions - big, strong, and exceptionally fast.

For what it is worth, Sonora is in West Texas along I-10 south of San Angelo.
I saw Elliott play in last year's 2A championship game against Blanco and the kid can play. He looked like a pure receiver to me. He's great hands from what I saw in my limited chance to see him play.

Did anyone see the DMN all-area team Sunday? Wasn't in my paper. Wondering how many of our commitments were on it.
