San Marcos Baptist Academy receiver Josh Smith took an official visit to North Texas over the weekend and upon his return, he decided to verbally commit to the school just down the hill from his high school, Southwest Texas.
SMU coaches had expressed interest in recent months but have never offered.

Rumor is there's a 6'5" WR from Richardson who's headed to SMU next year, perhaps as a walk-on. Reportedly the son of a former SMU player named Whittington. Dad was a burner - anyone ever see this kid play?
