A new player has emerged on SMU's recruiting wish list, and we also have an update on a few who already were on the Ponies' list:

Charles Elix
Running back
Irving (MacArthur), TX
5-10, 180, 4.5

One of the better running backs in the DFW area, Elix is receiving some heavy attention from some Division I programs like West Virginia, although some schools, like Oklahoma, are planning to evaluate him throughout his senior season before deciding whether or not to offer a scholarship.

Hodge is a very good cornerback prospect out of Texas who is receiving interest from teams all around the Big 12 region of the country.

Miami, Colorado, Florida, Kansas State, UCLA and Notre Dame
