We offered Celina OL Jake Raulerson really early (his first offer, 3/2011). He committed to UT last week.

The former staff was very high on this kid. I gather it depends on whether or not he can get into the graduate program he wants at SMU.

it may also matter if he made an official visit to SMU or SMU Coaching Staff made an off campus home visit back in 2012 I know he was on the SMU campus a couple of times on unofficial visits but I'm 99.99% sure he didn't make an official visit. We were so out of it so early I doubt we made a home visit either.

He was 4 star recruit out of high school with bunch of offers. So it was a no brainer for the previous coaching staff to be impressed with him as lot lot of staffs were. The previous coaching staff was also impressed with Steve Kaiser.

Of course, but I think at the time they thought they actually had a legit shot of landing Raulerson.

The previous staff (Coach Klemm) was so interested that Klemm lured him to UCLA.

He has 2 years of eligibility. Wonder what happened with the UCLA option and why he is still shopping...

I don't think he was accepted into the UCLA MBA program.

Guess UCLA does not need help on the o-line... Anderson is over-rated anyway.
