JOSHUA PARRISH pg/sg / 6'2'' 185 / Mansfield, TX
Extremely strong and physical for his age, Joshua Parrish is a well-put-together guard from the Lone Star State. His growth will ultimately determine his future position, but as of right now he's more than capable of running the point. Does a good job of using his size to his advantage by creating penetration and finishing through contact. Excellent rebounder for his position and seems to play lock down defense as well. Needs to develop a consistent stroke, but that should come with time. Plays his AAU ball with Texas Elite. I'm not exactly sure where Joshua will attend high school come the fall, but there are a number of excellent programs in the state of Texas that would love to have a point guard with his capabilities. Should be interesting to see how his game develops over the years.

A well-built guard who is at his best with the ball in his hands, Parrish’s growth (father and brother are 6’5+) will more than likely dictate the backcourt spot at which he ultimately settles. A recognized name locally among the Metroplex’s eighth grade class, Parrish has the talent that may eventually garner national attention. With his size an obvious advantage at the guard position, Parrish absorbs contact nicely, and is a capable finisher the rim. As his game evolves, we’ll be watching for him to develop a burst with the ball, and to learn to play the game at different gears to dictate tempo. Currently, Parrish is a consistent deep jumper away from being a dominant guard among his 2016 classmates nationally.

Tyus Battle SG
6-4 170 Edison, New Jersey, Gill St Bernards School, AAU: Team Final
other offers: Miami (FL), Rhode Island, Rutgers, Seton Hall, Syracuse, Vanderbilt

As the class of 2016 locally is booming with talent, Tyus Battle will likely be the highest ranked player out of all of them when all is said and done. A 6-foot-4 combo guard, who will play at Gill St. Bernard's (NJ), Battle has already drawn his fair amount of comparisons and college looks. As the likes of Rutgers, Seton Hall, Cincinnati and others are already aware of him, his development as a guard will be crucial in the future.

Tough sledding with those Paul VI and that Gonzaga kid. Gonzaga is a ND//GT pipeline. Paul VI is just now getting serious about hoops. But in other sports they've tended to send kids to Catholic uni's, VT and UVA. I'd be very worried about GT for those kids.

It would be fantastic to get even 2-3 of that whole 2015 bunch. Gotta aim high to hit high.

Sure is more fun to watch hoops recruiting than the "under the radar/diamond in the rough" football player recruiting..........

Yep, thanks PonyGrad, maybe you can become the new Otto of BB recruiting.

But unlike FB, we can actually make posts about the players.

After looking at what we are NOT doing in football recruiting...basketball is so much more BCS quality.
