In case there's a desire to do any poaching, here's a list of who 247 lists for Baylor for next year:

he played with Brandon Benson at La Vega but TE is one of the last things we need. We are DEEP at TE in coming years. Corey Rau. Cade Brewer already has about 14 offers plus some others that project at TE.

What the BU situation does is start the musical chairs and shuffling of talent. Presumably top tier players previously attracted to BU will go elsewhere which only increases the talent pool available to SMU and other teams.

I don't see BU releasing players from their scholarships but I can see 2016 recruits and current freshmen transferring to avoid sanctions. If BU loses the top 5-6 recruits from 2015 and 2016 this will devastate the program. Certainly no longer top 20 probably top 40 though.

I'm curious to see if Baylor will allow 2016 recruits out of their letters of intent (preferably without sitting out a year).

the problem is we don't have any 2016 scholarships to give-unless we could count for 2017

We all know Patterson has had his issues too so why would they want to go there after what they have been through.
