I'm liking how our OL is shaping up, young but should be solid. Is Saena coming back? If so, you have 3 really solid upper classmen in Brown, Seana, and Pursley. Add to that Smith, Todora, Barton, possibly Ali and Howerton (how about Huhn?) then you have decent back ups in hyder, natour, maybe Braxton Webb, McCarty, the other freshman who looked bad but I expect he'll be better, maybe even Becker? Throw in Rau and that's some good blocking.

Someone posted that Saena was graduating and moving on.

LT - Chad Pursely/Bryce Wilds
LG - Kadarius Smith/Harrison Barton
C - Evan Brown/Travis Fister
RG - Nick Natour/Braylon Hyder
RT - Jacob Todora/Alan Ali

As far a scholarships go, he's a junior. But he walked with the seniors on Sr. Night (before Navy game), which leads me to believe he's done (either he decided to graduate or the coaches decided they didn't need him on the roster). If it's the latter, it seems a bit short sighted, as I think that after Pursely and Brown, we stepped up and was one of our better OLs this past season.

I know Stallion is pretty high on the incoming frosh and reshirt OLs, but it just makes me nervous because they are young and untested.

ModelT: Why do you have Wilds backing up Pursley to LT? I assumed he would be heir apparent at RT?

A Katy HS player. Nice! They've been dominant for so long and a lot of those kids get D1 offers.

I like the way HH finishes run blocks and his nasty streak in making sure his assignment stays down. Would have liked to see some clips on pass pro....seems plenty athletic and I am sure any technique issues there will be corrected by coach Fry.

his quick feet, mobility and technique are good indicators that he'll be pretty good in pass protection. Got to be able to push the Line of Scrimmage in SMU Offense-that's No. 1. Really all the lineman we have recruited under Morris in last 2 classes are clearly better at drive blocking than the June Jones recruits. Of course, Jones was looking for a different skill set-nonetheless this will start to be evident. I'm excited about every single OLM in last 2 classes. I hope we get one more OLM in 2017 Class but we are building depth in the future. One more strong Class in 2018 and we will be in great shape at just about every Offensive Position

I think Fister is moving on

Barton likely our backup Center/Guard

Our tackles will be Pursley/Natour/K Smith/Wilds

Todora/Barton/Hyder/McNeil/Webb/Bates at guard.

Both Seanna and McCarty were announced at senior day even though they have a year remaining. They were two of our best linemen. Hopefully it is an indicator that Todora/Barton/Webb are that good.

Webb is a Guard? looks like an OT all the way-that would be a surprise

In fact, I think Webb might have a great shot at beating Wilds out

I haven't seen him practice. Was just throwing him in there because we had 4 at tackle and I think guard is going to be more of a concern. Wilds scares me, but he did play a little better at the end of the season.

At least it appears we will have some depth on the OL next year and with a healthy stable of RBs maybe we will see the offense Chad Morris wants to run
