Hmm, how is Baylor all of a sudden getting this much talent? If K.D. flips, it will be funny because CU's coach didn't want to coach at Baylor.

one teammate has flipped from Colorado to Baylor-another recommitted to Colorado tonite so who knows-but this should have been predicted. I said on Ponyfans that if Chad Morris got the job in early December he would end up with a Top 35-40 Class.

As I said when SMU got the Death Penalty, people don't believe universities are evil-they believe that when a university gets in trouble you hire good people that will clean up the mess. Unfortunately, it wasn't good enough for SMU to hire good people that wouldn't cheat, we decided to impose the additional Ken Pye Penalty and emasculate any opportunity to compete on an even playing field by requiring the admission of an entirely unrealistic and uncompetitive Academic Model

Getting back to the subject of this thread, where does UH stand right now? Is their class completely decimated and this year a write-off. . . or can they salvage a decent class? Just curious about the AAC competition.

Per 247 (http://247sports.com/Season/2017-Football/CompositeTeamRankings?Conference=AAC), UH is 3rd overall in AAC, 1st in average recruit ranking.

The conference recruiting rankings could still change drastically for all teams, but that's where it is right now.

Chidi Ogonabonya (or something like that) becomes UH's 14th decommitment (10th Since Herman left) and commits to Baylor

That's the third one Baylor has flipped.

Baylor pulling the best AAC recruits. Guessing that won't be enough to keep them where they've become accustom to with Briles.

well when Baylor joins the AAC after the B12 implodes, I guess they'll have a leg up.

This thread just really illustrates how important it was to keep Morris this past year. Continue the momentum. Had Morris left (along with key staff), this could have been us. We need at least one more good year under our belts to make this thing sustainable.

UH still has 2-3 kids who are wavering-visiting schools like Florida, Texas and TCU-especially Stiner and Cosmi

Herman must've recruited pretty well before he left.
Got a commit last week with an SMU offer.

yeah but Devodric Bynum hasn't had a SMU committable offer since August-even then it was a wait list offer-we have too many great WR prospects as it is. Same with the Grant Sturad kid-taking our leftovers
