Lot of divergence of opinion on this kid probably because he plays on a very poor football team and he got hurt in his 1st or 2nd game of the season as a Junior but its good to see somebody recognizes his talent in the high school department at the Chronicle. SMU may have jumped on a great athlete before other schools found him. A Top 40 kid in Houston would generally be rated a high 3 star. I've seen some sites like TexAgs.com listed him at 6-5. If he develops you got a great sized QB with athleticism-if he doesn't you've got a great sized TE. Apparently, he has lead his team to a likely playoff berth in Basketball. I saw several team highlites and he's moving around great so it doesn't appear his injury has any lingering effects. Plays inside but can fill it up from 3 point line
