Wow what happened to Dunbar-Young and Hunt lead Desoto to 47 point beat down of Ft. Worth Dunbar with 20 and 17 points:

They scored a combine of less than 10 points on Friday-what is up with that?

I didn’t see the box score but I believe Feron Hunt is hurt and out a few weeks. So I guess you’re saying Jahmar couldn’t get to 10 points?

They both played and barely scored so either the coach is wack or we are missing something here.

Hmm. The DMN reported a few days ago he’s out 3-4 weeks with a torn muscle. Cited his social media. Someone is missing something.

He was hurt on some date prior to December 7th. Immediate prior game -if it happened during game-would have been December 5th v Allen

I’ve seen both of them play 4 times. They are solid.
It’s my understanding that both of them have been battling injuries.
Again, both are very talented, huge upsides.

Hurt or not they were both in the box score on Friday's game.

From the Dallas Morning News:

To be fair, DeSoto hasn't exactly been at full strength either. The Eagles' rim protector, 6-foot-9 SMU commit Jahmar Young, has missed time recently with an ankle injury. And his post partner, fellow SMU commit Feron Hunt (DeSoto's most valuable offensive player at the forward position) is out 3-4 weeks with a torn muscle.

Looks like Hunt and Young are back-both reportedly scored 12 points in big win over Cedar Hill 62-50. I see at least 10 Young/Hunt baskets starting at about the 1:40 mark

Desoto beat South Garland in OT in a big matchup between Feron Hunt(SMU signee), Jahmar Young(SMU signee), Tyrese Maxey (2019-Dad on SMU staff)and Chris Harris(2019-3/3 on predictions for SMU on 247). 69-63 Desoto after South Garland took a 16-6 lead. . Maxey scored 21 for South Garland. Not sure about Hunt or Young but the Star-Telegram highlighted Hunt's play (No. 15) in the video about the game-3 great defensive plays and a 3 by Hunt. In fact, I don't even see Young (No. 30) in these highlites. Hunt is going to be a physically impressive athlete once he grows into his body
